Domestic Delivery Information
Signature is not required on delivery, if you are not home at the time of delivery your parcel will be left at the safest location deemed fit by the mail carrier.
If you do not want your package left, you can contact USPS or UPS and provide your shipping details to request a pick up or schedule a time for delivery.

Processing time is different from shipping time. Please allow 3-8 business days for processing. This is an estimate. This does not include weekends or holidays.
Processing time is not the same as delivery time. Excludes holidays/weekends.
We process, ship, and deliver packages Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays). At this time, we do not offer shipping or delivery on Sunday or holidays.
Following the processing of your order, you will receive an email notification of these details, followed by your tracking details for shipments.
Processing time may be delayed if your shipping address is questionable and or order is flagged as a risk (we use this additional time to help ensure the security of your credit information). We may require proof of identification for the billing information received.

Once you have placed your order we can not revise or alter shipping options.
PO Boxes & APO/FPO or U.S Territories
We do accept orders shipped to PO boxes and APO/FPO or U.S. territories. These will ship via USPS only. Any orders requiring express shipping methods will require a physical delivery/shipping address. You will be contacted for this information, if you do not supply it and this may cause further delays.
Note: All shipment methods come with tracking. However, Express Mail requires a signature at delivery.
If you do not live in a secure location please be mindful about the shipping method you chose, as standard mail couriers will not require a signature and packages will be left and any "secure" location deemed fit by the mail carrier.
- We are not responsible for lost packages in the mailing system.
- We are not responsible for incorrect address entered by you as the customer.
Taxes and Duties
- All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
Policy and Terms
- By placing an order at Petty Candle Co you are responsible for original shipping charges, all applicable custom import fees and the cost of return shipping back to Petty Candle Co. This also applies to any shipments that are refused/unclaimed by you at delivery. You are also indicating that you are the true holder of the card and/or authorized to use the card for purchases.
- Enjoy free shipping on order$35 and up, USPS shipping rates are based on your shipping address and the weight of your order.
If you place an order and wish to have your items before the estimated shipping times, please email us we sometimes can accommodate in processing your order immediately.
Orders can not be cancelled after 24 hours. Any exceptions will incur a 15% fee to process, no exceptions. No cancellations will be made after an item has shipped. No exceptions.
We do our best to ensure that your purchase is carefully packed with bubble wrap and packing peanuts, however there are instances that damages may occur due to rough transit. However; all packages are ensured and while we are not responsible for any damage that occurs in transit we will do our best to help you reach a resolution with the shipping provider and replace your damaged items by filing a claim with the shipping provider. Please remember to take photos of the damage and email proof of damage to email@example.com with your order number.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Please note that Petty Candle Co is not responsible for packages that have been marked as delivered, but may have been stolen.
It is best practice to immediately contact your shipping provider within 24-48 hours of receiving a delivery notification, but not receiving the package.
There may be circumstances in which the shipping provider is holding the package for pickup but did not leave a notice, or delivered the item to the wrong address. Please check with your local post office or shipping provider to confirm whether they are holding your package for pickup or to confirm the delivery address. If you suspect that your package was stolen or lost please file a complaint with the US postal inspector that investigates mail theft and file a police report to notify them of the theft.
